A barrel table with a lift-lid surprise, made for the kind of corner that wants both character and usefulness. The whitewashed wood brings a lighter, rustic feel, while the metal detailing gives it the familiar outline of a coopered barrel. ★★★★★ M.So delighted with this Door Knocker
I wish I could give more than 5 stars for this door knocker. It arrived well packed and earlier than expected. The knocker is chunky and heavy and looks the part. It was very easy to fit on the storm door and an ideal size and fit. He is very handsome and the decoration of the leaves around him is a…

★★★★★ S.V.Nice baskets
These are for my Dad to keep his paperwork in and fit under his coffee table. I searched everywhere to find baskets that will fit, are lightweight and be big enough to hold his papers. These are perfect and look smart too - a big improvement on an old drawer he currently uses! He's 93 and not very…

★★★★★ K.O.Delighted with these baskets.
I needed a particular size and shape of seagrass basket, so I ordered two sets of these to get two of the ones I needed for my little cabinet. I was reluctant, because other reviews mentioned the odor. I am aware that natural substances can have a profound unpleasant odor, having had to throw out…

★★★★★ O.Nice, strong baskets, just right for the bathroom
I only wanted one basket but got three - not a bad return for the investment! The biggest one was just the right size for putting on a low stool in the ensuite shower room. Space is so tight that there's no room for a wall cupboard or shelves, which leaves the problem of where to keep toothpaste…

★★★★★ M.M.Superb additions to our home bar!
We adore these barrels. We ordered two and they arrived separately. I contacted the seller after the first one arrived to check the second barrel was on its way. Customer service was superb. We have recently moved the the Isle of Lewis and wanted to create a home bar. I'm sure you'll agree they…

★★★★★ C.B.Affordable baskets that look good
Affordable baskets which look good from a distance. Pros: The basket is a metal wire basket hence is sturdy. The sea grass woven looks somewhat posh from a distance as though it is bamboo basket. There are some very nice spacious (enough to fit plumpy 4 fingers) cutout on the side to lift the…

★★★★★ B.Strong, practical and attractive on display.
I thought I'd go for square rather than rounded. So glad I did. And the sizes are just right for me (one for dishwasher tablets, one for scourers and sponges...). These are stylish and a notch above other ones I've bought. Really pleased.

★★★★★ S.Good quality, more on the medium side.
Great gift set nice box and ribbon, card and pull tissue paper included. Box is more on the medium side, not very deep so wouldn't be able to stack multiple things to keep in mind. But nice presentation and nice box. Good quality.

★★★★★ H.
It is very special, even though it contains nothing, it can also be used as a Buddha head statue. The only drawback is that the magic box is a bit loose. It would be better if the switch could be tightened a bit more.

★★★★★ E.Does the job very well.
I have several of these now and I really like them. Look great as well as being practical. They don't feel flimsy at all and hold quite a bit. I think the cat would like to scratch them if he could!

This little box is just perfect for my SPIRITUAL room, it looks very old and fragile and gives off a long history of all the hard work actually put into them when being made x

About this product
Barrel form with a softer whitewashed finish
- The barrel-inspired shape brings a warm pub and farmhouse note without feeling heavy.
- The whitewash finish keeps the look airy, letting the wood grain remain part of the character.
- Metal accents add definition around the curved form, giving the piece a practical, industrial edge.
- The tabletop works as a steady spot for a lamp, books, drinks, or a small arrangement of objects.
- Lift the top and it becomes hidden storage, useful for keeping everyday clutter out of sight.
Albasia wood with metal detailing
Made from Albasia wood and metal, this barrel storage table balances natural texture with a more structured outline. The wood has a pale, washed finish that suits lighter interiors, country cottage rooms, coastal styling and relaxed modern spaces.
The barrel shape nods to cooperage, where curved wooden staves and metal bands have long been used to form casks. This piece is barrel-inspired rather than stated as a reclaimed beer barrel, so the appeal is in the silhouette, storage and rustic mood.
Hidden storage beneath the tabletop
The top lifts to reveal an interior compartment for small household essentials. It is useful for throws, magazines, remotes, craft materials or anything you prefer to keep close but not on display.
Because the lid is a functional tabletop, lift and replace it with both hands. Do not use the table as seating.
Placement and care
Place it where the curved shape can be seen: beside a sofa, next to a reading chair, or as a characterful occasional table in a cosy nook. Its pale finish works especially well with linen, rattan, ceramics, aged metals and soft neutral walls.
Wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth and dry straight away. Keep it away from prolonged damp, standing water and harsh cleaners, as wood and metal finishes are best treated gently indoors.
