★★★★★ L.Beautiful artwork in gold foil on a black background
These cards are absolutely stunning — black and gold, amazing quality, gorgeous artwork. Everyone who's seen them has commented on them. The book that comes with the card set is really helpful, showing you each card and what it's all about. I bought these as a birthday present for my daughter and I…

★★★★★ E.Large and lovely for in person readings.
Such lovely cards. They feel fantastic in your hands and the designs are gorgeous. I didn't think about how easy they'd be to film though — the gold is so reflective that filming isn't ideal for me, but for in person use they're great. They're quite large though, about 1cm bigger in both length and…

★★★★★ M.Good quality cards
As a professional tarot reader I go through plenty of cards. These cards are stunning though not for a beginner. When you start learning the cards you need images to relate to so that you learn what they mean to you before you read leaflets and books. The minor arcana can be tricky to decipher if…

★★★★★ D.B.Very nice deck but hard to shuffle
The cards are very pretty, and have a premium feel. The only downside is that the cards are a bit big. This combined with the rubbery feel of the cards makes the deck somewhat difficult to shuffle.

About this product
Beckoning cats, soft colour and a gentle oracle mood
- The artwork centres on Maneki Neko, the beckoning cat of Japanese folklore, with each card carrying its own character.
- Pastel tones keep the deck sweet rather than heavy, suited to quiet reflection or relaxed play.
- Torii gate imagery gives the cards a ritual feeling, without making the deck feel formal or austere.
- It works as both a playful card deck and a simple oracle deck for journalling, intention-setting or conversation.
- The cat theme makes it approachable for people who like symbolic objects with a warm, charming visual language.
PET and paper for regular handling
The cards are made from Plastic (PET) and paper. The format is designed for a deck that will be handled, shuffled, drawn and returned to often, rather than left untouched as decoration.
How to use it for play or reflection
Use it as a card game, or draw a card when you want a small question, image or message to sit with. For reflective use, keep the approach simple: shuffle, choose a card, notice the image first, then let the theme guide a journal note or a short pause.
Store the deck away from damp and direct heat, and keep it flat between uses so the cards stay tidy.
The folklore behind the lucky cat
Maneki Neko, often called the beckoning cat, is a familiar figure in Japanese folklore and popular culture, traditionally associated with welcome, good fortune and open doors. The raised paw is read as an inviting gesture, which is why the figure is often placed at entrances, counters and home thresholds. In this deck, that symbolism becomes a light oracle language: each cat feels like a small invitation to notice something, choose a direction, or bring a little playfulness into a daily pause.
