Two glossy green trees stand shoulder to shoulder on a plain wooden block, a little jute bow at their branches and two red beads swinging below. It is a small piece of winter woodland for a shelf or mantel, and it brings a bright, glossy note of green to a room long before the first frost.

★★★★★ L.Beautiful
I did not buy this to hang on the wall but to protect my settee from my dog's muddy paws, when we return from a walk. This way, I have my side (with this) and he has his side - the problem is that he likes my side better now but not a problem as it is far easier to wash then the settee's cushions…

★★★★★ M.Lovely picture.
Lovely picture. The listing said framed, so I was expecting a frame but it actually means canvas is just framed at the back it doesn't have a surround frame on the front. Very happy with it tho a great finishing touch to newly-decorated bedroom.

★★★★★ V.B.As advertised
Really lovely. We fitted this to a door and it looks good. Do check you know what size you're getting as the advert shows the larger one. We measured and went for the smaller one, which is fairly different to the image shown.

About this product
What you'll notice
- The enamel is deep, glossy green, and it catches the light along every tier of the branches.
- The taller tree stands behind its smaller companion, so the pair reads like a pair of friends walking home through the trees.
- Fine dark lines mark each layer of the branches, giving the flat silhouettes a sense of depth.
- A rustic jute bow ties the trees together, with two red wooden beads hanging from its ends like berries.
- The pale wood of the block, with its natural grain showing, grounds all that green.
Mango wood and enamel
The trees are made from natural mango wood, coated in rich green enamel. The base is left as bare wood, so the grain is part of the look, and each piece will differ slightly in its pattern and tone. The contrast between glossy colour and natural timber is what gives this decoration its charm. It is made in India.
Where it sits well
A freestanding piece like this needs no hanging or fixing. Set it on a mantelpiece, a windowsill, a sideboard or the end of a bookshelf, where light can reach the enamel. It works as a single accent or grouped with candles and pine cuttings for a winter display. To keep the finish bright, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth and keep it away from damp.
Size and details
This is the small size, measuring 25 × 8 × 2.5 cm, slim enough to slot into a narrow shelf or sit beside a photograph frame. The twin trees, the jute bow and the two red beads are all part of the piece.
