About this product

The quiet presence it brings
  • The whitewashed finish softens the carving, letting the wood grain show through gently rather than looking flat or glossy.
  • The two figures read as a tender pair, with the larger form gathered close around the smaller one.
  • Wing shapes and simple carved lines give it a calm, familiar silhouette from across the room.
  • It suits a remembrance corner, a hallway shelf, a guest room, or a place where you like objects with feeling.
  • The pale tone works easily with natural wood, linen, stone, candles and other quiet home textures.
Carved mango wood with a softened finish

Made from mango wood with enamel, the piece has the warmth and natural variation of timber beneath its gentle whitewash. The carving keeps the forms simple: rounded wings, close figures, and a pared-back expression that feels more contemplative than ornate.

Placing and caring for it

Keep it indoors on a dry, stable surface. Dust with a soft dry cloth, and avoid prolonged damp, as wood can mark or change when exposed to moisture.

The meaning behind the paired angels

Angel figures have moved between devotional art and everyday keepsakes for centuries, often used to express care, remembrance and guidance without needing to belong to one particular belief. This double angel statue follows that gentle gift language. The larger figure sheltering the smaller one suggests closeness, support and watchfulness, the kind of symbolism often chosen for a friend, a parent, a child’s room, or a quiet memorial space.

Set details

This is a set of six figurines. They are made in India as part of the Mango Wood Angels range.

A thoughtful gift of care

It is well suited to moments when words are hard to find: sympathy, encouragement, a new home, or a small token for someone who likes meaningful objects. The pair of figures gives it a tender, personal feeling without being overly formal.

Common questions

Will each figurine look exactly the same?
No two carved wooden pieces are usually identical. Small variations in grain, whitewash and carved detail are part of the natural character.
Does it need to be used as a religious object?
No. Angels are often chosen as symbolic home pieces, given to convey care, remembrance or guidance in a gentle, personal way.
