Candles dedicated to the throat chakra - resonating with the color blue. They contain sodalite - a natural stone that promotes better communication, courage in expressing one's own opinion, and greater creativity. For me, a big plus is that the candle is made from natural soy wax, and thanks to the…

★★★★★ A.Retro
I like these lamps, they're fairly priced and don't appear to be in the daytime, but in the evening they come to life, with a lovely warm retro look and feeling.I would have preferred them to come with a switch set to their lowest light setting, or the gradient of brightness to start at its highest…

★★★★★ S.Very cute and works nicely
Love these. I took them on holiday with me and they came in very handy. They are light and the little packs are small enough to fit easily in your bag. I can't say they are particularly perfumed but they do smell pleasant. My daughter loved them and keeps asking to use them. Very pleased with these.

★★★★★ C.White sage and peppermint sage stick
Nicely presented and well made, the sage was easy to use - though I was glad to see some brief instructions on the box too as someone trying this for the first time. It did take a little while to light and only burned for a short while but it was long enough to give the room a pleasant and relaxing…

About this product
What you'll notice
- The rope passes right through both ends of the wooden bar, so the bar sits in the middle of the loop with a handle's worth of rope on either side.
- The braid is chunky and cream-and-brown, with knots at the ends that give a dog something firm to grip and a person something solid to hold.
- Tassels finish the design, which looks as good lying on a living-room floor as it does mid-game.
- Coffee wood is a dense, tightly grained wood with a warm, earthy tone, a natural-looking alternative to brightly coloured plastic.
- The loop shape works for solo chewing, for fetch, or for a two-person tug session in the garden or hallway.
Wood and rope, kept simple
The toy brings together two natural-looking elements: a coffee wood bar and a braided rope loop. Wood is a material many dogs enjoy chewing, and the elongated shape of the bar makes it easy to hold between the paws or the teeth. The rope adds give and grip, which is what makes tug games satisfying. As with any natural wood, the grain and colour of each bar will vary a little, so no two toys look exactly alike.
How to use and care for it
Offer it for tug, fetch or a calm chew on a mat. Play with it together where you can, and keep an eye on the wear: if the rope begins to fray heavily or the wood splinters or cracks, retire the toy and replace it. Store it somewhere dry between uses, and let it dry fully if it gets damp. A stiff brush will clear dirt from the rope, and a dry or barely damp cloth is enough for the wood.
Why it works
Chewing and tugging are natural behaviours for dogs, and a toy that supports both gives energy somewhere good to go. Combining wood and rope in one piece means one toy covers two kinds of play, so it can live in the basket by the door and come out whenever the mood strikes.
A considered gift
It suits a new puppy household, a dog-loving friend, or anyone who prefers natural-looking materials in their dog's toy box. The rope-and-wood look makes it an easy present to wrap and a toy that doesn't feel out of place in a tidy home.
