Handcrafted in Bali, this freestanding 25 cm gong hangs from a carved frame with a weathered grey-and-white wash. The metal face shows a teal-green verdigris with warm reddish tones at the rim, and a polished gold-toned boss; subtle concentric rings catch the light. Suspended by a dark cord within turned posts, it sits beneath an ornate crest where intertwined dragon/serpent forms are carved in quiet detail.

Gongs in Bali and Java are part of ceremonial and musical life, their tones used to signal transitions and bring people together with poise.
