🌟 Very good ! Lovely item. Tho rather amusing because from a certain angle, it looks as tho the Buddha is taking a leak... (Anyway, why shouldn't he?! ...The human touch...) Very light so can go on any surface, tho it "looks heavy" , as if it's carved from stone. It's really well done. Good enough…

About this product
The presence it brings
- The golden finish catches the light, giving the piece a warm, reflective glow rather than a flat decorative look.
- The Buddha form creates a calm visual centre, suited to a quiet corner, hallway table or home workspace.
- Moving water adds a soft, audible texture to the room. It is not silent, and that gentle sound is part of the experience.
- The Vitarka Mudra is traditionally associated with teaching and discussion in Buddhist iconography, with the hand gesture forming a poised, thoughtful detail.
- Its tabletop format keeps the feeling contained, making it easier to place than a larger floor fountain.
Golden resin with sculpted detail
The fountain is made from polyresin and resin, materials often used for decorative water features because they can hold sculpted detail and take a metallic-style finish. Here, that gives the Buddha figure a warm golden appearance while keeping the piece practical for indoor display.
Using and tending the water
Place it on a level, stable surface where the sound of the water can be enjoyed without crowding the space. Indoor tabletop fountains typically recirculate water through a built-in basin with a small pump, though the exact power fitting varies by model.
Keep the basin topped up as needed, and refresh the water regularly. Wipe the surface with a soft cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners, which can mark the finish.
Water, stillness and symbolic form
Small water features have long been used in contemplative spaces, from temple courtyards to quiet garden corners, because moving water gives a room a living rhythm. In feng shui, water is traditionally linked with flow and placement, often considered carefully in relation to entrances, work areas and the north area of a home. The Buddha figure adds another layer of visual meaning: Vitarka Mudra is commonly read as a gesture of teaching, reflection and the sharing of understanding. Kept simply, the piece becomes a small daily marker for pause and attention.
