About this product
The raised-hands pose
- The figure sits cross-legged, with the arms forming a gentle point above the head.
- The face is left simple and abstract, so the posture carries the feeling of the piece.
- The long lines of the arms and torso make it feel poised rather than ornate.
- The rectangular base gives the seated form a clear, grounded outline.
Whitewashed Albasia wood
Made from Albasia wood, the statue has a pale whitewashed surface with darker natural lines running through it. The finish is rustic and uneven in the best way, with warm brown tones showing at the edges and through the grain.
Where it belongs
Its quiet shape suits a shelf, sideboard, yoga corner or bedside surface. Place it where the raised silhouette has a little space around it, so the pose can be seen clearly.
From Indonesia
This piece comes from Indonesia and belongs to the Wooden Yoga Lady range. It carries the familiar language of yoga posture in a simple decorative form, focused on line, balance and stillness rather than detail.
Size and details
The statue weighs 632 g. It is made from Albasia wood with a whitewashed finish, and the base reads ‘Hands to the Heavens Embrace Peace’.
