About the Size

Weathered teak, once part of retired fishing boats, gives this reclaimed wood console table its quiet strength and lived-in colour. Set in a hallway, living room or open-plan space, it brings a grounded surface for keys, bowls, books and the small objects that make a home feel tended. The three drawers keep everyday clutter close, but out of sight.

What you will notice in the room

  • The wood carries varied tones and marks, so the surface feels storied rather than uniform.
  • Original colour traces and a rustic finish give the piece an easy, collected-over-time character.
  • The long, slim shape suits an entryway, behind a sofa or against a wall where you want presence without bulk.
  • Three drawers offer a practical place for keys, chargers, notebooks and the little things that gather near the door.
  • Its natural finish lets the grain and reclaimed timber details remain the focus.

Reclaimed teak, made by hand in Bali

This piece is handmade in Bali using mostly upcycled teak wood from retired fishing boats. Teak has long been valued in furniture and boat-building for its dense, durable character, and here the salvaged timber is given a second life as part of the home.

Because the wood is reclaimed and the table is crafted by hand, each one has its own markings, colour variation and rustic texture. These differences are part of the design, not flaws.

How to place and care for it

Use it as an entryway table for the things you reach for every day, or as a narrow display surface for ceramics, candles, books and plants. Its weight gives it a grounded feel, but it should still be used as furniture, not as a step or standing surface.

Wipe with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth and dry straight away. Keep it away from prolonged damp, standing water and direct heat, as reclaimed wood can shift and mark with harsh conditions.

Teak with a second life

Reclaimed boat wood brings more than colour to a room. In Indonesia, teak is closely tied to both practical craft and everyday architecture, valued for furniture that is made to be used, touched and lived with. The retained marks and uneven tones speak to that earlier life at sea, then settle into a slower domestic rhythm: a place to empty pockets, arrange flowers, or pause at the threshold before moving further into the home.

Size and details

Measures 150 cm wide, 45 cm deep and 80 cm high. Weight is 45 kg. Made from recycled wood, mostly upcycled teak, with three drawers and a natural rustic finish. Handmade in Indonesia, so each piece will vary slightly in colour, markings and finish.

A thoughtful house gift

It suits someone setting up a new home, refreshing a hallway, or choosing furniture with texture and history. The reclaimed teak gives it a more personal feeling than a plain storage piece.

Common questions

Will each table look exactly like the photo?
No. The table is handmade from reclaimed wood, so colour, grain, markings and rustic details vary from piece to piece.

Is this best used as a console table or a coffee table?
Its long, narrow proportions make it especially suited to an entryway, hallway or wall placement, where the drawers and slim surface are most useful.
