Double Bedspread, Black And White Buddha Wall Hanging

• The seated Buddha sits at the centre, drawn in fine white line against deep black cotton.
• A radiating halo of lotus-like, feathered forms gives the design its strong mandala symmetry.
• The monochrome palette keeps it calm rather than busy, even with the detailed patterning.
• As a wall hanging, it reads like large-scale textile art above a sofa, bed or meditation corner.
• On a bed, the graphic print adds structure to simple bedding without needing extra colour.

The textile is made from 100% cotton, with the design printed by hand. Small variations or slight imperfections can appear in the print, which is part of the character of this kind of cloth rather than a flaw.

Drape it over a double bed as a light decorative layer, fold it at the foot of the bed, or let it cover a plain wall as a soft statement piece. Use gentle textile clips, a poster hanger or a rod-style grip rather than piercing the fabric.

Printed cotton textiles are usually best washed gently in cool water with a mild detergent. Avoid wringing, tumble drying or leaving the fabric in harsh direct sun while drying. If ironing is needed, iron the reverse side on a moderate setting and follow the care label if supplied.

The Buddha figure is one of the most recognisable images in Buddhist visual culture, often shown seated in stillness and framed by radiating forms. Here, the mandala-like arrangement behind the figure works as design language: balanced, symmetrical and contemplative to look at. The black and white treatment keeps the symbolism graphic and modern, so it can sit in a minimal bedroom, a yoga space or a relaxed living room without feeling ornate.

Measures 230 cm high by 200 cm long and weighs 680 g. One cotton bedspread and wall hanging is included.

This suits someone who likes bold monochrome interiors, Buddhist-inspired design, or flexible textiles that can move between bed, wall and studio space. It is especially fitting for a new home, a student room, or a quiet corner made for reading and reflection.
