★★★★★ B.T.This bowl packs a punch
I bought this for my wife for Christmas & she really loves it. It was claimed it had a "great sound". It does. "Plays easily" - it does. At first I was worried that it would be too small, but it actually fits on her fingers well. I bought this after reading the reviews and was not disappointed. I…

★★★★★ G.Beautiful bell, beautiful sound. Perfect!
It was the perfect size I was looking for, it's easy to transport but it has the right weight. The sound is fantastic. It came with a small sheet with instructions which will prove very useful if you've never used one. I use mine daily to purify/energise crystals and for Reiki practice. It looks…

★★★★★ J.Fantastic long sound and vibration
Long sound and vibration when rubbing the rubber mallet in a clockwise direction around the rim of the bowl. You don't even have to tap the bowl first to get the sound, just use the mallet and circle clockwise. Starts low then gets loud, you control how long and loud you want it to be. Perfect…

★★★★★ S.Great purchase
Am really pleased with this striker. Perfect size for my hand. Perfect shape for me and makes the sound much better than just the plain wooden strikers I have. Arrived a good week earlier than I expected it to also so that was a bonus. All in all very pleased with my purchase.

About this product
What you notice before the first tone
- The rounded form sits low and steady, with a dark interior that draws the eye inward.
- The green exterior has a soft, earthy look, set off by the deeper rim.
- Circular mandala-style designs wrap the outside, adding detail without making the bowl feel busy.
- Used as a meditation singing bowl, it gives a simple point of focus: strike, listen, breathe, let the sound fade.
- It works as both an instrument and a calm display piece for a desk, shelf or practice corner.
Aluminium body, handcrafted in India
This aluminium singing bowl is handcrafted in India, with a smooth rounded body and decorative Mandala Buddha design around the outside. The finish is contemporary rather than antique, so it feels clean, grounded and easy to place in a modern room.
Playing it with patience
Tap the rim gently to hear the bowl’s natural voice, or use a steady rubbing motion around the rim with a suitable striker. Rim-playing takes a little practice: even pressure and a slow hand let the metal build its tone gradually.
Each bowl can vary slightly because it is handcrafted. The exact tone is not fixed here, and singing bowls are best chosen for their feel, resonance and presence rather than a promised musical note.
Keeping the finish clear
Handle it with dry hands where possible, and wipe the surface with a soft dry cloth after use. Avoid abrasive cleaners, as they may mark the coloured finish and printed design.
The meaning of the Mandala Buddha design
In Buddhist art, a mandala is often used as an image of order, centre and contemplative focus. The Buddha motif points to stillness, attention and the practice of returning to the present moment. On a singing bowl, these symbols sit naturally with the act of listening: a struck tone appears, opens out, then fades. Many people use this simple sound ritual to mark the beginning or end of meditation, yoga, journalling or a quieter part of the day.
Size and details
Measures 16 cm across and weighs 770 g. The bowl is made from aluminium and features a green outer finish, dark rim and Mandala Buddha decoration.
A thoughtful sound-led gift
A considered gift for someone who meditates, practises yoga, enjoys sound rituals, or likes meaningful objects with a calm visual presence. It suits a home practice space without feeling overly ceremonial.
