Flat Pack Gift Box - Hand Box (20 × 10 × 20 cm) - Brown Craft

• The brown craft finish is plain and natural, with a soft, slightly fibrous look that lets whatever sits inside be the colour in the room.
• The handle is a smooth oval cut-out in the top panel, so it can be lifted in one hand without any string or ribbon to tie.
• The sides taper gently inward towards the top, giving it a neat, tailored shape rather than a plain square carton.
• With no printing or logo, it takes a tag, a twist of twine or a stamp of your own just as well as it stands alone.

It arrives as a flat pack, which means it takes up little space in a drawer or on a shelf until you need it. Folded up, it forms a standing, tapered box with a front flap that closes over the contents and a handle panel at the top. The craft card has a matte, uncoated look that suits a minimal, handmade feel.

Its natural finish suits handmade gifts, candles, soaps, small hampers, treats, accessories and seasonal bundles. Tuck in tissue or shredded paper, arrange the pieces so the best one shows first, and fold the front down. For a more personal touch, add a handwritten label, a sprig of dried flower or a ribbon threaded through the handle.

Part of giving is the moment of opening. In Japan, the idea of tsutsumu treats wrapping as an art that honours both the person giving and the person receiving. A box does not need to be elaborate to carry that attention. Plain craft card, folded with care and filled thoughtfully, says that someone took the time.

The box measures 20 × 10 × 20 cm when assembled, which suits a small group of items rather than a single large one. The colour is brown craft, and the product is a flat pack gift box, as shown in the photo.

If you make, bake or collect small things to give, this is a tidy way to present them together. It works for a birthday, a thank-you, a seasonal bundle or a shop-bought gift that deserves a little more ceremony.
