Flat Pack Gift Box - Med Hamper (24 × 18.2 × 8 cm) - Black

• The black finish is matte with a fine, woven-style grain, so it reads as quiet and understated rather than glossy.
• A black strap handle sits within a shaped cut-out on the front. It gives the box a carried-by-hand, case-like feel.
• The lid closes flat, so the box sits neatly on a shelf or table once packed.
• The low, shallow shape suits items laid out side by side, such as a soap, a candle and a small card, rather than stacked tall.

The box is made from cardboard and arrives flat-packed, which keeps it easy to store before you need it. Once folded into shape, it measures 24 × 18.2 × 8 cm. The wrapped finish gives the sides a smooth, structured look.

The low rectangular shape lends itself to soaps, candles, bath treats, jewellery, stationery, accessories and small homeware pieces. A layer of tissue or shredded paper underneath helps keep things from sliding, and a handwritten card on top gives the whole box a personal finish. It also works well for personalised gift sets, where each item has its own place and the box becomes part of the presentation.

Part of a gift's pleasure is the moment before the gift itself, when the lid lifts and the contents come into view. In Japan, the idea of tsutsumu, wrapping as an art, treats the covering of a gift as an act of respect for both giver and receiver. A structured black box with a handle echoes that idea in a modern way: simple, deliberate and a little ceremonial. Many people also keep boxes like this afterwards, using them for letters, small keepsakes or desk clutter.

Assembled, the box is 24 × 18.2 × 8 cm. It is supplied flat-packed in black, with a lid and a strap handle on the front.

This is a good choice for anyone building a hamper for a birthday, a thank-you or a quiet celebration, whether you are filling it with a few favourite things or a themed set. The black finish keeps the focus on what you place inside, so it suits almost any recipient and almost any occasion.
