About this product
Timeworn trunk character
- The set has an old-world chest shape, with rounded lids and dark edging that makes each box feel like a small travel case.
- Brass-toned fittings add contrast against the deep red-brown surface, catching the light without looking too polished.
- The largest box has a raised handle, giving it the feel of a miniature luggage trunk.
- Use them together as a layered display, or separate them across a room for little pockets of order.
- The aged finish is part of the charm, so small variations in design, size and surface are to be expected.
Wood, MDF and brass detail
The boxes are made from MDF and wood, finished in a vintage style with brass fittings. They are replica antiques rather than genuine antique pieces, designed to bring that worn, collected look without needing the care of an original.
For jewellery, keepsakes and quiet rituals
Place one by the bed for rings and earrings, one on a desk for small notes or tokens, and one on a shelf for the pieces you like to keep out of sight but close to hand. They also work well as reusable gift boxes, especially for something personal or thoughtfully chosen.
Care for the aged finish
Keep them indoors and wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid prolonged damp or harsh cleaners, as MDF and wood finishes are best treated with light, regular care.
Vintage style with travel-case roots
The curved lid, front fittings and handle on the largest box echo the look of small travelling trunks, the kind associated with dressing tables, writing desks and stored letters in older interiors. This set is not presented as an antique. Its appeal is in the suggestion of history: a little scuffed, a little theatrical, and useful in the everyday. It suits rooms that mix warm wood, brass, books, textiles and objects with a story-like feel.
Set details
This is a set of three decorative boxes from the Vintage Style Boxes range. They are made from MDF and wood with brass fittings, and are produced in China.
A thoughtful gift for collectors of small things
A lovely choice for someone who keeps jewellery, letters, crystals, craft pieces or personal mementoes. The set feels especially suited to a birthday, housewarming or a gift that deserves more than ordinary wrapping.

★★★★★ SHAMTAM customerBrilliant-looking boxes.
These caught my eye as I was wanting a small storage box, but with a bit of style to it. These look just like, 'pirate' style boxes which I love. The wood is solid and well treated, the rivets and straps are real (they don't actually serve a strapping purpose but look great, the hinge is good with a supporting bar to s

★★★★★ SHAMTAM customerBeautiful but clasps are delicate
These boxes are beautiful. There's a tiny padlock. I use the large box for medication and it's perfectly sized to hold them. The smaller one I use for keys and bits and bobs. They really are beautiful. The smaller box's clasp has broken but it's not worth the hassle of returning.

★★★★★ SHAMTAM customerGood quality, more on the medium side.
Great gift set nice box and ribbon, card and pull tissue paper included. Box is more on the medium side, not very deep so wouldn't be able to stack multiple things to keep in mind. But nice presentation and nice box. Good quality.
