About this product

The champa scent
  • Champa has a floral character with a lightly spicy edge, giving the smoke a bright but rounded feel.
  • The fragrance is distinctive without being too heavy, so it suits everyday burning as well as slower ritual moments.
  • It works well for a quiet desk, a meditation corner, or the first calm hour after coming home.
  • The orange Satya box has a warm, traditional incense-shop look, with coated bamboo sticks ready to place in a holder.
Hand-rolled on bamboo

These are hand-rolled coated incense sticks on a bamboo core, made in India as part of the Satya incense range. The coated section burns down slowly, while the plain end sits securely in an incense holder or ash catcher.

How to burn it safely

Light the coated tip, let it flame briefly, then blow the flame out so the end glows. Place the plain end in a heat-resistant incense holder, away from draughts, fabrics and anything flammable.

Burn in a ventilated room and never leave incense unattended. Let the ash fall onto a suitable holder, then allow the stick to cool fully before clearing it away.

Champa in context

Champa is known for its rich night fragrance, traditionally described as both floral and spiced. In Indian incense, it is often used for an atmosphere that feels warm, devotional and quietly focused, without needing to be reserved for formal practice. Satya’s style is familiar to many incense lovers: generous, room-filling and suited to everyday rituals, from morning tidying to an evening reset.
