I got these Bolsius red pillar candles specifically for Christmas Eve, to place one in the window as part of the Irish window candle tradition. The candles themselves are solid a nice deep red colour that suits Christmas perfectly, and they're unscented, which works well for something like this where you just want a clean, steady glow. Only Red on the Outside. Nice Flame.

Looked really nice in our Christmas table decoration and had a nice flame. I was disappointed that the red colour only seems to be on the outside so as they burned you had white wax showing, which spoiled their appearance. I'd have given 5* if it wasn't for that.

Terrible candles

Look nice but burn badly. Only lasted 3 hours and the wax was just a wet puddle. Now I have to dig it out and clean the holder and find some useable candles. Wouldn't recommend these candles to anyone.

Smaller than I thought but that was my fault because I didn't check properly. Lovely candles though.

Great value

Great quality candles, these already have the holes at the base, making them easy to place on your holders, watch those sizes though! These were smaller than I wanted , but that was my measuring error, but I did actually need this size elsewhere, great value whichever you purchase though
