These baskets are hand-woven in Indonesia using banana leaf fibre and raffia. The weave is tactile rather than polished, with small variations that belong to the material and the making. The finish is natural and grounded, with tan fibre softened by darker lines.

Keep them for dry use indoors. Dust with a soft cloth or brush, and avoid prolonged damp, as natural plant fibres can mark or lose their shape if left wet. If the weave softens slightly over time, that is part of how natural fibres settle with use.
