Made in Bali, the jug uses recycled glass and Gamal wood, also known as Gliricidia sepium. The glass is hand-blown, then placed while still hot over a piece of Gamal root, where it relaxes into the wood’s natural shape as it cools. Because the fit is formed around the individual base, no two pieces will sit or look exactly alike.

Use it as a water jug when you want something more tactile than a plain vessel, or keep it as a decorative glass form between meals. Set it on a stable, level surface so the natural wood base can sit securely.
