This piece is crafted by hand in Bali, Indonesia, using recycled glass and Balinese Gamal wood, also known as Gliricidia sepium. The glass is hand-blown while hot, then relaxed over a piece of Gamal root so it hardens to the shape of the wood below. Because the base is natural and the glass is formed to fit it, each decorative glass bowl on wood has its own lines and small irregularities.

Place it where the glass can catch natural light and the wood can be seen from the side. It suits organic-modern, coastal and slow-living interiors, especially where one textured object can hold a space without clutter.

This piece is for decoration only and is not suitable for beverages. Use it as a sculptural object rather than a serving decanter.
