About this product
Material and making
The shade is woven from dried coconut palm leaf, a byproduct of harvest across coastal regions where nothing is wasted. After weaving, the surface is treated with a greywash finish — a pale, weathered tone that softens the natural fibre. The wrapover seam is hand-tied. Inside, a glass fitting holds the bulb. Glass, leaf, and cord: the lamp arrives as one piece, ready to light.
Where it works
Beside the bed, on a low shelf, or at the edge of a meditation corner. The light spreads warm and diffuse — enough to read by if you are close, enough to settle a room without glare.
