Small Enameled Square Trinket Box, Heart and Cupid

• The front panel is glossy and decorative, with layered red and pink tones that catch the light.
• White ornamental corners frame the design, giving the square face a delicate, illustrated feel.
• The visible sides and top show mango wood grain, warm in tone with natural variation.
• Dark metal hinges are visible along the top edge, adding a small antique-style detail.
• The square shape keeps the silhouette neat and simple, letting the enamel artwork carry the mood.

The box is made from mango wood, with a decorated enamel front panel from the Hop Hare enamelled wooden boxes and trays range. The photograph shows a natural wood finish on the sides and top, paired with a highly polished decorative face.

The lid is hinged at the back, as shown in the photograph. Wipe the wood and enamel gently with a soft, dry cloth, and keep it away from prolonged damp so the natural finish stays looking its best.

The heart and Cupid design gives the box a romantic, keepsake quality, more playful than formal. Cupid is widely recognised in European art and decorative objects as a figure of affection and courtship, while the heart motif keeps the piece familiar and warm. Here, the imagery is softened by swirling ornament and a rich pink-red palette, making it feel closer to a tiny illustrated cabinet than a plain storage box.

Weight: 181 g. Material: mango wood. Origin: India. The photograph shows one square decorative box with a hinged lid and enamelled front panel.

It suits someone drawn to decorative woodwork, pink tones, and quietly sentimental motifs. The heart-and-Cupid artwork gives it an affectionate feel without being overly polished or formal.
