The piece has an elongated, dagger-like silhouette with a handle-shaped crest and tapered base. An irregular mosaic of small tiles moves from deep red above to cool turquoise below, bordered by a beaded, gold-toned trim. Gold-toned discs run along the central line, with a close band at the color transition and a single blue cabochon as a quiet accent. A small metal medallion at the top shows a serene Buddha face.
