About this product
The scent
Jasmine is one of the great classical fragrance materials, used across South Asia for centuries in garlands, offerings, and perfumery. Its character is rich and white-floral with a soft sweetness underneath, present without being sharp, lingering without becoming heavy. These sticks carry that warmth well, releasing the scent steadily as they burn.
The making
Each stick is a cored incense: a thin bamboo spine coated in a paste blended from herbs and perfumery materials. This is the standard form of Indian incense production, where the paste is rolled onto the core and dried before packing. hex incense range is made in India, where this style of incense has been refined over generations. The packaging is recyclable.
Burning
Light the coated tip and let it catch for a few seconds, then blow out the flame so the tip glows orange. Rest the plain bamboo end in a heat-resistant holder or ash catcher and let it burn. Each stick burns for approximately 30 minutes. Burn in a ventilated room and never leave a lit stick unattended.
What you get
Twenty incense sticks, each on a bamboo core, from the hex incense range. Total weight is 40 g. A holder is not included and is sold separately.
