About this product
Rosy granules, gently warmed
- The granules are loose and jewel-like, shown here in a rosy pink shade with a lightly crystalline look.
- A spoonful sits in the reservoir of an oil or wax burner, where gentle heat releases the fragrance.
- No water is needed, and no flame touches the granules themselves.
- Use a tealight burner or an electric burner suited to fragrance granules.
- Top up or replace the granules once the scent has faded.
The scent of a festive room
Christmas pudding fragrance belongs to the cosy side of home scenting: warm, sweet and seasonal, with the feeling of a room prepared before people arrive. It suits winter evenings, a table dressed for guests, or a quiet corner where you want the air to feel more considered.
Ways to scent your space
Use the granules in an oil burner for a more noticeable fragrance ritual, or place a small amount in a little bowl to scent enclosed spaces such as bathrooms or wardrobes. They can also be placed in ashtrays to soften lingering cigarette odour.
How to use and look after them
Place a spoonful of granules in the top dish of a suitable burner. Warm gently from below, then allow the burner to cool fully before handling or replacing the granules.
If using a tealight burner, place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface and never leave the flame unattended. Rinse or wipe the burner dish after use, following the care guidance for your burner.
A small winter scent ritual
Simmering granules sit between potpourri and wax melts: decorative, easy to portion, and made for scenting a room without bottles of oil. Christmas pudding as a fragrance draws on a very British festive memory, full of sweetness, warmth and the sense of something being prepared slowly. It is not about recreating a dessert exactly. It is about giving a room that familiar seasonal atmosphere, softly and without fuss.

★★★★★ SHAMTAM customerLovely warm scent of violets
I took a chance since the other review mentioned there was hardly any scent. However I found the one I received was strong enough to fill the room nicely. Maybe it's a quality control thing, either old batch as simmering granules do loose their potently the longer you store them, or not enough oils put into the granule

These granules are amazing!! The fragrance has spread throughout my home and this linen fresh one is just gorgeous. I only ordered one to test the scent but I will definitely be putting in a larger order for this soon. Just a teaspoon of the granules in the burner (no water required) and a tea light and you're away...w
