About this product
Rose musk, warmed gently
- Designed for use in an oil burner reservoir, with no water needed.
- Less messy than fragrance oil, as the scent is held in dry granules.
- The rose musk profile suits bedrooms, bathrooms, dressing areas and quiet evening rooms.
- A small bowl of granules can also be used like potpourri to lightly scent a cupboard or corner.
- Colours may vary, so each batch can look a little different.
How to use them
Place a spoonful of granules in the top dish of a suitable oil burner. Warm them gently from below, then replace them once the fragrance has faded.
Do not add water or oil. No naked flame should touch the granules themselves.
Where they work well
Use them before guests arrive, beside a bath, on a dressing table, or in a small bowl where you want a subtle background scent. A few granules can also be placed in an ashtray to help leave a fresher rose musk note nearby.
A softer way to fragrance a room
Simmering granules sit somewhere between potpourri and burner fragrance. They are simple, dry and easy to dose, which makes them a good choice when you want scent without handling liquid oils. The rose musk pairing feels familiar and romantic: floral at first, then warmer and closer, like a trace of perfume on fabric.

★★★★★ SHAMTAM customerLovely warm scent of violets
I took a chance since the other review mentioned there was hardly any scent. However I found the one I received was strong enough to fill the room nicely. Maybe it's a quality control thing, either old batch as simmering granules do loose their potently the longer you store them, or not enough oils put into the granule

★★★★★ SHAMTAM customerLinen Fresh
These granules are amazing!! The fragrance has spread throughout my home and this linen fresh one is just gorgeous. I only ordered one to test the scent but I will definitely be putting in a larger order for this soon. Just a teaspoon of the granules in the burner (no water required) and a tea light and you're away...w
