About mango wood
Mango wood comes from orchard trees past fruiting age — close-grained, easy to carve, and warm in colour. Because the timber is salvaged rather than plantation-grown, grain and tone vary from piece to piece. The surface takes enamel well, holding pattern and colour without cracking.
What it holds
Jewellery, keys, coins, small ritual objects. The square form makes good use of drawer or shelf space. Lightweight enough to travel with — 350 grams — but sturdy enough for daily handling.
