About this product

What the glass lets you see
  • The brew is part of the experience, from pale first tint to a deeper, fuller colour.
  • The clear glass keeps the focus on movement, steam and the shape of the tea as it opens.
  • The charcoal finish gives the piece a quieter edge, less ornate and more contemporary.
  • The built-in infuser keeps loose tea contained while still letting water move through it.
  • It suits unhurried cups, shared pots and the simple pause of pouring tea properly.
Glass form with an inner infuser

The teapot is made from glass, with an inner chamber for loose tea. Its transparent body makes the infusion easy to follow by eye, so you can judge the strength by colour as well as time.

The charcoal detail gives it a grounded, understated look, pairing easily with plain mugs, wooden trays and simple table settings.

Brewing loose tea

Add loose tea to the upper part of the inner chamber, leaving room for the leaves to move. Heat the water in the pot on a hot plate, then let the infusion develop to your preferred strength before serving through the spout.

As a general guide, many loose teas are steeped for three to five minutes, depending on the leaf. Tea bags can also be used in the pot if you want the same glass brewing experience with less preparation.

Keeping the glass clear

Rinse after use so tannins do not settle on the glass or around the infuser. Glass should always be handled with care, especially when hot.

A visible tea ritual

Glass teapots suit the part of tea-making that often goes unnoticed: the shift in colour, the slow opening of leaves, the first thread of steam. In loose-leaf tea traditions, that attention is part of the pleasure. The vessel does not hide the process. It gives the brew a little stage, making even an everyday pot feel more considered. This style is especially lovely for teas where appearance matters, from whole leaves to floral blends, because the making is as visible as the serving.

Capacity, weight and origin

Common questions

Can I use very fine tea in the infuser?
It is best suited to loose leaf teas that can open in hot water. Very fine powders are better prepared using the method intended for that tea.
Can I brew directly in the pot without the infuser?
Yes, tea can steep directly in hot water inside the pot, then be poured through the spout. The infuser is the tidier option for loose leaves.

Lovely delicate teapot

Very delicate but beautiful. Makes a nice item to leave on display when not in use. Works very well for making a small pot of tea as a nice afternoon tea break. Although the tea pot seems to be fairly sturdy, it will not survive if dropped onto the counter. Lid does not have a lip to hold it in place while pouring so the lid can easily fall and break. Not tempered glass as I was expecting, chips easily. I can still recommend this teapot to anyone wanting something special. Not for everyday use.

Pretty but not practical

The glass strainer lets loads of the herbs through. The colour has started to wear away at the bottom and I used it a handful of times. Really overpriced in my opinion

Hold down the lid.

The first time I used it, the lid fell from the teapot and broke, really loose fitting and flimsy, not very good quality......disappointed.

Useless glass teapot

The teapot lid was so thin that first time I used it the fragile glass on the lid just shattered.

Delicate don't tip to far or the lid falls out .

You can use loose tea or tea bags. Great looking too.

Good for iced tea

We got this teapot as we love iced tea and mint-infused water, and it's perfect for serving chilled drinks. The blue & pink ribbed design looks attractive and adds a nice touch to the table. Quality feels basic — the glass is quite lightweight and functional, not particularly premium or thick. The infuser works well for loose leaf tea, tea bags, and blooming tea, and it's easy to remove and clean. Ease of use is excellent — comfortable handle, smooth pouring, and the 1-litre capacity serves around four cups. Arrived securely packed in a box with bubble wraps. Overall, it's functional, visually appealing, and good value for money, ideal for refreshing beverages

Very pretty pot.

Lovely pot, but the part inside that holds the tea lets fine particles into the pot.
