This piece is hand-made in Bali using recycled teak wood, mostly upcycled from retired fishing boats. Teak has long been valued in Indonesian furniture and boat building for its durable character, and here the old timber is given a second life indoors. The rustic finish keeps traces of paint, grain and wear visible, so the table feels collected rather than overly polished.

The design is simple and upright, with four straight legs and a framed top. The inset planks add colour without making the piece busy, so it can sit easily with natural textiles, ceramics, plants, books or mineral pieces.

Use it as an end table, a display stand or a small accent table in a living room, hallway or bedroom. Keep it indoors and wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth, then dry the surface straight away. Avoid leaving standing water on the wood, especially around the older painted sections.
