Selenite is a form of gypsum, known for its satin-like surface and luminous white translucence. This piece comes from Morocco, a country closely associated with desert minerals and pale gypsum formations. Its name is linked to Selene, the Greek goddess of the moon, a fitting association for a crystal that seems to hold light in a cool, lunar way.
