A beaded aluminium wall hanging gives a bare wall a softer centre of attention, with painted metal, cotton tassels and small bead details adding colour and movement. The Buddha form brings a quiet focal point to an entrance, meditation corner or living space, without needing a large shelf or surface. Handmade in Indonesia, it has the easy, collected feeling of Bali-style wall decor.

★★★★★ J.Very impressed!
I love it. It arrived in great shape but even had a little comb to detangle it, though it wasn't really necessary. For the price, I'm really pleased with the quality.

About this product
Painted metal, beads and gentle movement
- Beaten aluminium catches the light differently across the surface, so the decoration feels textured rather than flat.
- Hand-painted colour gives each piece its own small variations, especially around the shaped metal details.
- Beads add tiny points of contrast, bringing a crafted, layered look to a plain wall.
- Cotton tassels soften the metalwork and give the piece a relaxed, bohemian finish.
- As an assorted-colour design, the exact tone may vary, making each hanging feel individual.
Aluminium craft with a painted finish
The piece is made from aluminium with bead and cotton detailing. The aluminium is beaten and hand painted, a process that gives the surface a lively, worked character rather than a machine-perfect finish.
Because it includes beadwork and tassels, handle it gently when moving or placing it. The details are part of its charm, but they are better treated with care than pulled or twisted.
Where to place it
Hang it indoors where the painted metal can catch natural light, such as near a doorway, above a side table or beside a small home altar. Avoid damp rooms and exposed outdoor spots, as painted finishes and cotton details are best kept dry.
For cleaning, dust lightly with a soft, dry cloth. Do not soak the tassels or use abrasive cleaners on the painted aluminium.
The temple craft behind the form
In Indonesia, beaten and painted aluminium has been used for generations in temple offering boxes, where metalwork becomes part of daily devotional life. This wall hanging draws on that craft language in a more decorative form, pairing the calm presence of the Buddha image with beads and tassels for a home setting. In Buddhist traditions, the Buddha figure is associated with awakening, stillness and mindful attention, so it suits a space made for quiet, reflection or simply a slower pause in the day.
