The melts are made from a blend of soy and palm waxes. The surface is smooth and softly coloured, with rounded mushroom tops and simple smile details visible before use.

Place one melt in the dish of a wax or oil burner, then warm it with an unscented tealight beneath or an electric warmer. The wax melts without a flame touching it and releases fragrance as it warms.

When the scent has faded, allow the wax to cool and remove the spent melt before adding a fresh one. Use on a stable, heat-safe surface and keep the burner attended while warm.

Ylang ylang is often used in perfumery for its creamy, floral warmth.
