This wall hanging is made from rayon and comes from Indonesia, within the Bali Wax Batik Wall Hangings range. The design is created through a wax-resist batik process: hot wax is drawn onto the fabric, natural dyes are applied, then the fabric is stretched and dried before the wax is removed to reveal the final pattern.

In yogic and Tantric traditions, chakras are described as centres of the subtle body, often represented in modern yoga culture through a rising sequence of colours. A chakra banner uses that visual language as a contemplative symbol.
