The cover closes with a concealed zip along one edge, so it slips on and off easily for washing. The piped edge is sewn in the same marigold tone, framing the front without a colour break. It is made to fit a standard 30 × 50 cm inner pad; the pad is not included.

Wash it at 30°C with similar colours, and dry it flat or on a low tumble setting to keep the shape. Iron on a medium heat if needed, though the texture hides most creases. Expect the colour to soften very slightly over the first few washes, as woven cotton tends to do.
