Double Cotton Bedspread and Wall Hanging, Buddha

• The central Buddha image gives the textile a quiet, contemplative presence without feeling formal.
• A mandala-like halo spreads outwards in petal and feather shapes, drawing the eye back to the centre.
• Pink, blue, yellow, orange and green tones move through the cloth in a soft, tie-dye-style wash.
• The black outline work keeps the design clear, even against the bright background.
• It suits relaxed bedrooms, meditation corners, studio walls, creative spaces and layered bohemian interiors.

Made from cotton, this textile is designed for easy styling rather than heavy upholstery. It has enough presence to cover a bed or fill a wall, while remaining light enough to fold away between seasons.

Use it as a double bedspread when you want colour and softness in the room, or hang it as textile wall art behind a bed, sofa or low table. For wall display, gentle clips, a textile hanger or a rod-style solution are kinder to cotton than piercing the fabric.

Printed cotton textiles are usually best washed gently in cool water with a mild detergent. Avoid wringing or tumble drying, and dry flat or in shade where possible. If ironing is needed, iron the reverse side on a moderate setting and follow the care label on the item.

In Buddhist visual culture, the seated Buddha is associated with stillness, awareness and the inward turn of meditation. Here, that symbolism is carried through a decorative home textile rather than a devotional object: the calm face, centred posture and radiating mandala pattern create a strong visual anchor. It is a simple way to bring spiritual art into a living space with colour, symmetry and softness.

This is a double cotton bedspread and wall hanging, made in India. The listed dimensions are 2.4 × 2.1 cm, and the weight is 680 g.

It makes a considered gift for someone setting up a meditation space, refreshing a bedroom, or adding colour to a rented home without permanent decoration. The dual use gives it a practical charm: one textile, styled in more than one way.
