Fragranced Candle Sand - Black - Spirited - 300g

The sand is made from a plant-based wax blend, coloured black and fragranced with a complex accord inspired by classic men's perfumery: the brightness of citrus and dark fruits balanced against smoky wood, moss and a warm, ambery base. It melts cleanly when lit, pooling around the wick without producing heavy soot, and the scent diffuses steadily through a room. Use any cotton or wood wick suited to container candles; the sand itself provides the structure.

Pour the sand into a heat-proof container, ceramic, glass or metal, to a depth of at least 3 cm. Press a wick into the centre, leaving about 5 mm above the surface, and light it. Stand the vessel on a heat-proof plate or holder, keep it away from draughts and anything flammable, and never leave it burning unattended. When you've finished, let the sand cool fully, lift out the spent wick, smooth the surface, and press in a fresh one. The sand can be reused indefinitely; store it in the pouch between uses.
