Round Enamelled Box - Stay Wild Moon Child

• The lid is a glossy enamelled panel, so the colours look deep and saturated against the wood around it.
• The wood is warm and honey-toned, with a visible grain that changes from band to band down the sides. No two boxes will look exactly alike.
• The scene reads like a travel poster for a warm desert night: palms on either side, a mountain glowing at the horizon, and the moon sitting high above the lettering.
• The lid lifts straight off, and the round shape makes it easy to pick up and hold in one hand.
• It suits a dressing table, a bedside shelf or a desk, where the lid design is always on show.

The box pairs a natural wooden body with an enamelled lid. The contrast is the point: the wood stays soft and unfussy, while the lid brings the colour and the message. It was made in India, where enamelled and painted woodwork is a long-running tradition in decorative homeware. The finish and grain will vary a little from piece to piece, which is part of what makes a wooden box feel personal.

Think of it as a home for the little things you like to keep in one place: a ring or two, a favourite crystal, a few earrings, a handwritten note or a keepsake from a good trip. Setting something inside at the end of the day is a small ritual of its own, a way of putting things down and slowing the pace. Left on a shelf with the lid on, it simply looks good.

Wipe the wood and the lid with a soft, dry cloth. Keep it away from damp and standing water, which wood dislikes, and avoid soaking or scrubbing the printed lid, so the design stays crisp for as long as possible.

The message on the lid does a lot of the talking, which makes this an easy present for a dreamer, a night owl, a traveller or anyone who has always felt a bit untamed. It works for a birthday, a housewarming or a small thank-you, and it comes with a place to put things, which a card never does.
