About this product

The holy basil scent
  • A herbal incense fragrance with a clean, green character rather than heavy sweetness.
  • The coated stick catches, glows, and releases a steady ribbon of scented smoke.
  • It suits moments when you want the room to feel clearer and more focused.
  • The green Satya packaging echoes the fresh, plant-led feel of the fragrance.
  • The brown coated sticks and plain bamboo ends are visible, simple and familiar in the hand.
Hand-rolled Satya incense

These are Satya incense sticks from India, made as hand-rolled coated incense on a bamboo stick. The format is classic and practical: a scented coating for the burn, with the plain bamboo end placed into a holder.

Lighting and care

Light the coated tip, let it flame briefly, then blow it out so the end glows. Place the plain end into a heat-resistant incense holder or ash catcher, keeping it away from draughts, fabrics and anything flammable.

Burn incense in a ventilated space and never leave it unattended. Let the ash cool fully before clearing it away.

Holy basil in Indian tradition

Holy basil is widely known in India as tulsi, a plant with long cultural and devotional associations in Hindu tradition. Here, its name gives the incense a fresh herbal direction, suited to small daily rituals rather than grand ceremony. It works well as a quiet companion to meditation, journalling, reading, or simply resetting the feeling of a room after a busy day.

Pack size and details

Each pack contains 15 g of Satya Holy Basil incense, approximately 15 sticks. Each stick has an approximate burn time of 30 minutes. The packaging is recyclable.

Common questions

Does holy basil incense smell like kitchen basil?
No. Holy basil incense is more of a green, herbal fragrance direction than the sharp scent of culinary basil.
Can I use it without an incense holder?
Use it with a heat-resistant incense holder or ash catcher. The ash needs a safe place to fall as the stick burns down.
