Fragranced Candle Sand - Mocha Brown - Crimson Crystal - 300g

• The sand is fine and loose, almost like dry cocoa powder, and pours easily into bowls, jars or votives of any shape.
• The mocha-brown colour sits somewhere between dark chocolate and espresso, warm and deep against white ceramic or clear glass.
• The fragrance lifts as it burns, bright and floral at first, then deepening into something warmer and woody, with a soft amber undertone that lingers in the room.
• It gives you control: pour a shallow layer for a short burn or fill a deeper vessel for a longer evening, and relight it as many times as the wax allows.

The sand is made from stearic acid, a plant-derived wax with a fine, granular structure that holds a wick upright without needing a solid pour. It is produced in Britain and arrives ready to use, no melting, measuring or setting time required.

Pour the sand into a heat-safe container to a depth of at least 3 cm. Press a cotton wick into the centre, leaving about 1 cm exposed, and light. The sand around the wick will melt into a small pool and burn cleanly; the rest stays solid. Trim the wick to half a centimetre before each use and never leave it burning unattended. When the scent fades, you can top up the sand or start again with a fresh pouch.

Crimson Crystal is inspired by Baccarat Rouge 540, a contemporary composition built around saffron, jasmine and cedarwood, with amber and ambergris adding warmth and weight. The result is a fragrance that feels luxurious without being heavy, bright at the start, settling into something softer and more enveloping as the candle burns. It suits evening rooms and quiet corners, the kind of scent that makes a small ritual feel considered.

The pouch contains 300 g of fragranced candle sand. The wick is not included, use a standard cotton candle wick, available separately or from most craft suppliers.
