Cool, transparent glass with a soft aqua tint settles into the curves of natural gamal root wood. Hand-blown in Bali, the freeform vessel meets the wood’s contours in a calm, precise union—nature and craft in quiet conversation.

The body is rounded and sculptural, smooth and glossy to the touch. An irregular rim offers an easy, organic line. Below, warm brown wood shows textured grain, weathering, knots, and open hollows. Where the two meet, the glass is gently indented, resting securely in the wood’s cradle.

This piece reflects a Balinese approach to making that follows the shape of the material, allowing each vase to be singular. Place it as a quiet centerpiece or on a low shelf—left empty as sculpture, holding a few stems, or sheltering a small terrarium or air plants.
